There are only 1,000 copies of the limited edition Iluminomi 10 inch vinyl single worldwide.
.
Before or after Who Killed Sgt. Pepper was released, A. Newcombe was inspired to write a record entirely written in french.  Iluminomi is the only manifestation of this lofty artistic pursuit (for an American artist who doesn’t speak french). The song is also the third track on an unreleased full length Brian Jonestown Massacre record called “Don’t Say a Thing”. The music project unfolded in front of a plethora of A. Newcombe’s fan’s eyes and is displayed in it’s entirety on the Brian Jonestown Massacre website, but has yet to be released as a physical copy.  It may never be formally released.
.
"There’s a War Going On" is the fourth track on Don’t Say a Thing and is most importantly a cover of a song by Bobby Jameson, who until he was rediscovered by BJM’s founder was almost lost into obscurity as a musician and an activist during the Vietnam War. Now that you know about it, find a copy and buy it for yourself.
